Pine FFP2: Automatic production machine for FFP2 masks
A project that was created to meet the need of our customers to use a machine capable of producing surgical masks at low cost, in line with the recent ordinances in terms of cost containment and which guarantees ease of use and reliability.
Dolomiti Medical has decided to accept the challenge of committing its resources to solve the production problem of masks in Europe at competitive prices and very short delivery times. The demand for protective masks has experienced a sudden and uncontrolled spike due to the COVID-19 emergency. To this, import difficulties were added due to dubious certifications of non-EEC producers and controlled State costs. We therefore believe that the solution to current and future demands is to incentivize European production by offering the appropriate technology, to face an intense and efficient production process, to guarantee the supply of certified and very low-cost protective devices to the population. The requests for a full-blown epidemic speak of an average monthly requirement for the Italian population of 30 million pieces.
